Former NASA space flyer Jose Hernandez is running for congress out of California this year. California Republicans argued that Hernandez should not be allowed
to list his occupation as "astronaut/scientist/engineer" on the ballot, Judge Lloyd Connelly disagreed, saying that Hernandez is an astronaut for "more than the time spent riding a rocket,".
I think that its dumb how the Republicans think its not allowed for Jose to list his occupations. I mean why not.? He is what he says his occupations are.

SPACE
Billionaires created this spacecraft for suborbital tourism flights. Kickstarter; crowd-funding website to contribute $20,000 for a full-size test of a hybrid rocket capable of putting out 5,000 pounds of thrust.
Anyone who cares to contribute to the $20,000 rocket test firing can
expect a wide variety of goodies such as stickers, T-shirts and
personalized messages launched aboard the Hermes maiden flight. More
generous donors can claim a "handcrafted Hermes model" ($500), an
advertisement on the side of the spacecraft ($5,000), and a round trip
with accommodations to the rocket motor test firing plus first dibs on
pushing the ignition button ($10,000).
I think that this is really cool but it is also very expensive ..
